The mysteries of deep space have always fascinated library music composers, serving as a boundless canvas for sonic exploration. Giuliano Sorgini, one of the genre's foremost talents in Italy, has consistently embraced this cosmic allure throughout his illustrious career.

Recorded in the late '70s but astonishingly unreleased until now, "Elettronica Spaziale" is a true gem of space electronic music. Crafted exclusively with modular synthesizers, each track unfolds through the artistry of layering, overdubbing, reverb, and feedback, resulting in ethereal and otherworldly soundscapes. Evoking suspenseful sci-fi scenarios (from perilous magnetic disturbances in "Solar Flare" and "Magnetic Storm," to strident cosmic frequencies in "White Noise," and electronic undulations in "Asteroid Belt"), this sonic journey treads the delicate balance between ambient and experimental, inviting the listener to float weightlessly across abstract atmospheres, unburdened by rhythmic constraints and harmonic resolutions, like an astronaut in zero gravity.
